It absolutely does NOT dry not even with a blow dryer. After 1 hour, one would expect the product to dry but given that it's a dry oil spray - it just doesn't. Bring back the old version which dries in about 30 minutes. Both are scented the same. I think the ProPefect does not wear as well or last as long as the original. I have ordered these twice and neither were dried up (although the boxes were smashed). These are particularly handy for traveling because they weigh less than a bottle of self tanner. The depth of the tanning shade is medium and has one of the least powerful scents compared to other lotions I've tried. The tanning sheet sufficiently covers your face, neck, chest, and tops of your shoulders (but wouldn't cover your entire body). I would recommend it and have given these as gifts and gotten friends hooked on them as well. I am not very talented with the cream or gel products. I tend to streak and end up looking splotchy or very fake. These wipes are so easy to apply and I have had very little streaking. I love that the color from the wipes intensifies in the sun as well. I am always complemented on how great my color looks after using the loreal wipes. However, they are becoming very hard to find in stores and I have been mostly ordering online. I'm crossing my fingers that they aren't d/c. It makes me look sickly at times if I don't spend time in the sun, but we all know too much sun can cause skin damage. Regrettably, I used tanning beds for awhile because I was so frustrated with the results from self-tanners. Never went on even, always blotchy and usually a bad color. I've used expensive self-tanners before...and they were never like this. This is by far my favorite self-tanner. It did not have me looking orange or yellow, streaky or blotchy....rather it even seems to add a bit of rosy undertones to what looks like a very natural looking tan. Best of all....Not only is this self-tanner superior, it is also affordable. This product give a great subtle color that gets darker with repeated use. I have very fair skin, but this shade still looks fine if I don't over do it. I have to disagree about the "sparkles". the sheen is very mild and hardly glittery. Just my experience, but friends have said the tan looks good and no-one has ever mentioned sparkles. Easy to apply without streaking as the color effect is subtle and only builds over repeated applications and you are unlike to "miss" the same area repeatedly.
